Privacy policy
The short version
Everything you put into Quogo stays on your phone. We don't have a server that holds your data, we don't run analytics or ads, and we can't see your quotes or your clients.
Where your information lives
Your business details and logo, your price book, and the quotes you make — including your clients' names, addresses, phone numbers and emails — are stored on your phone, in the app's private storage. They aren't uploaded to us or to anyone else.
Your phone's own backups
If your phone backs itself up — iCloud on an iPhone, Google on Android — that backup includes the app's data, stored under your Apple or Google account, not ours. You control it in your phone's settings.
Your password
Your password is never stored. The app keeps a one-way scrambled version of it (a salted PBKDF2 hash) that can check a password without revealing it — and only on your phone. We never see it, so we can't reset it for you either.
Your voice
When you hold the button to talk, your phone's own speech service turns what you say into text — Apple's on an iPhone, Google's on Android. Depending on your phone that happens on the device or on Apple's or Google's servers, under their privacy terms. The app keeps only the text that becomes your quote — never a recording.
What the app asks your phone for
The microphone and speech recognition, only while you hold the talk button. Notifications, for the follow-up reminders you switch on — they're set on your phone itself, with no server involved. The camera or your photos, only if you add a logo. Say no to any of them and the rest of the app still works.
When you send a quote
A quote only leaves your phone when you send it, through your phone's share sheet — your own email, messages or WhatsApp — to the people you choose. Those apps' privacy terms cover what you send.
What we don't do
No accounts on our servers. No analytics, no advertising, no tracking across apps or websites. We never sell or share your data or your client list, with anyone.
Your clients' details
You collected them, so they're yours to look after. The app only uses them to build and send your quotes.
Keeping a copy, or deleting it all
Settings → Account → Back up everything saves a copy you control. "Delete my account", in the same place, wipes everything from the phone straight away — so does uninstalling the app (older phone backups are managed in your phone's settings). Nothing is kept with us, so there's nothing left to ask us to delete.
Children
Quogo is a business tool for tradespeople and isn't directed at children.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here and in the app with a new date. Questions or complaints: cgstudios.support@gmail.com.
